Lifetime member Ed Craighead

The LSRC is sad to announce the passing of Ed Craighead. He was a member of the club for forty years and a welcome site to see at many of the races in the area. We send condolences to his family, including his son, Jay who is also a member.
The article included in this link featured Ed in the November 2017 LSRC newsletter. Written by then President, Jillian Brunton, we thought it was appropriate to feature again. Several photos of Ed and his fellow runners are posted on the site as well.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church in Dalhart at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 10. A tribute and celebration of Ed’s life will be held at Paul & Mike’s Excellent Mile this Saturday, July 13th at Thompsom Park.
Ed will be missed by so many of us, but we are glad to have known him.
