This race will begin and finish by Austin Park/Austin Middle School and run through Wolflin. The 5k and 10k will begin at 7:30am, and the 1mile fun run will begin at 7:40am.
There will be a 5k, 10k and 1-mile fun run. There will be medals for the finishers of both the 5k and 10k. There will be age group winners of both these races as well.
This is a fundraiser for the Amarillo Police Benefit Fund. We are encouraging all First Responders to enter. There will be a competition within the 5k race between all first responder agencies. Whichever agency has the best combined times of their top 3 runners, will win the Chief’s cup, a traveling trophy for this (going to be) annual event.
Packet pickup will be at the Amarillo Police Department from 4-6pm on July 11, and race day morning before the race. There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
Last day to register to be guaranteed a t-shirt is June 25th.
