Membership Benefits Overview

Perks of membership include:

• Fun and fellowship with runners and race directors in our community.
• Entry in the Gran Prix competition (details here – Gran Prix is BACK!!! (lonestarrunnersclub.net) ) with the opportunity to win prizes!
• Discount on all Lone Star Runners Club races. There are currently five club races and the potential for additional races in the future. Runners can save up to $25 annually, which covers the cost for a one-year membership.
• Ability for you and a guest to attend the annual Christmas party.

Race Director Member Benefits Overview

Perks of membership (if using LSRC timing services for your race) include:

• Two social media posts on the LSRC accounts (currently Facebook & Instagram) promoting your race. Four social media posts will be posted on both LSRC accounts if Lone Star Runners Club members are given a $5 discount on the race. (Race Directors must provide graphic and desired messaging.)
• Race promoted on the LSRC website calendar.
• Timing results posted and stored on the LSRC website.
• Extra benefits for first- and second-year races include: route recommendation, runner safety advisement, race director checklist, and race bib assistance (*if LSRC volunteers are available and given timely notice).
• Race directors that give LSRC members a $5 race discount can use the LSRC logo when marketing their race. Examples: Logo on shirt, flyers, timed by LSRC, etc.

Additionally:

• Members receive priority on race dates/timing services if there are scheduling conflicts.
• Optional attendance at monthly meetings with voting privileges on club decisions.
